ABOUT
The Shelton Performing Arts Alumni (SPAA) is a group made up of alumni from Shelton High School dedicated to reviving the theater culture within the schools of Mason County, and has been active since 2017.
The Shelton Performing Arts Alumni, in partnership with Anna's Bay Center for Music, will be hosting a summer Musical Theatre Intensive for local students in Mason, Kitsap, and Thurston County going into 7th through 12th grade. Participants will spend three days working on the basic skills involved in musical theater performance (singing, dancing, acting), and attend workshops taught by guest clinicians-- who are also Shelton High School alumni-- who are working professionals in the performing arts. The Intensive will culminate in two performances where the students will be featured performers alongside SHS performing arts alumni and Anna's Bay Chorale in AlumNight of Musical Theatre.
